Before I start with the levy topic, let me clarify on yesterday article ! Casino is the winner as a whole eventually(They have their winning edge) but with careful planning and execution, they are still winners ! Otherwise, keep your money tight in the bank and do not step into the Casino.
This is a hot topic among Singaporeans/PR Where alot commented about not all can enjoy the fun that RSW Casino brings. Simple 100 dollars is too much for many to have a look at the Casino or just to enjoy the fun and entertainment which the Casino brings.
Anybody mindset will straight to point out that you already throwing 100 dollars away before getting into the Casino ! As I said in my previous article, unless you have a mindset of winning and plan to execute, otherwise do not throw away your money !!This is the first country in the world which implement such levy ! Looking at the positive expect I will tell you how I look at the 100 dollars. Since the money is collected for charity organizations, I trust they used my money for charity purposes. Secondly, when I pay 100, I will try to take my money back and not for fun during my play in Casino. Thirdly, it bring convenience and less aching up to Genting or ship/ferry on day cruise. Lastly, this is a winning edge for me which is I can get out from Casino and run out quickly back to land/home.
As such, is still worth to play in your country although is not ideal to pay the levy which I agreed as others are paying you to enter casino and those who has smaller pocket will not benefit them to see how it looks like and the fun/entertainment that Casino brings. Surely, I do believe the levy will change from time to time after getting feedback from public.
For examples, why not restrict 3 hours per week to enter Casino for all Singaporean ? Why not open for all to enter Casino during public holidays only ? They are so many ways which will allow all Singaporean to have a look at the Casino and not necessary to play..
I will continue my part 4 when I got time on Sentosa - It will never be the same Sentosa anymore ?
