Clash of the Champions League Giants ! Do or die match for both clubs ! Is going to be same situation as Chelsea and Man U match. Both will not defend and should go all the way to score. Is going to be hot tempered game and if Man U perform the same as Chelsea, then Man U deserve to be in the final but I doubt ! Man U have been looking forward for this game where Alex kept Ronaldo and Tevez both on the bench till 2nd half(Chelsea, Man Match) where situation doesn't looks good and finally got no choice but have to put Ronaldo into the match. The problem now is Vidic could be in doubt due to injury and you see once he has been out of the game, Man U defend start to go havoc ! Rooney hip is having some problem and not sure if going to recover ontime. This show weakness on Man U and is an Opportunity for Barca to come after Man U and could finally win this game. This is not going to be surprised to me which I did highlight about Man U focus and concentration last week having end of season fatigue and with only 2 days rest for such a tough competition, Man U is obviously tired ! Form have been going down the ladder for last couple of matches now!
Barca Messi is very fast and always crucial in these type of matches. Eto and Henry have been looking forward for this game and with 2 speedy players and others, there is no doubt Barca can do wonder to Man U as well. Of course, not forgetting we have Man u Tevez and Ronaldo. With Vidic and Rooney in doubt, time for Man U to give away this Champions league to Barca or Chelsea. With Barca having no other worries, the concentration on this match is 100% unlike Man U one leg on EPL.
By looking at the past CL stats on Man U home against Barca, looks like this match going to be a draw again and ignore that friendly match on year 03. Some interesting facts: Spanish clubs seem to be able to subdue Man U at Old Trafford. In 2000 and 2002, Man U lost to Real Madrid and Deportivo at their home ground., both games the score being 2-3. Beside that, as I highlighted last week, Semi-finals 6 times but only qualify for final Once. It will be very close match but I will be taking Barca on the handicapped advantage. My predictions:
