Clash of the Titans between a Premier League and a Championship Club for this FA Cup finals. Nobody expected for these 2 clubs to be in the finals ! All the TOP clubs have gone for Champions league and EPL as FA Cup rewards is not as juicy as CL and EPL.Portsmouth is defnitely stronger in nearly every area against Cardiff. This year, Portsmouth is playing so much better then before and finished on 8th Spot of EPL! Is already an achievements to them. With this inmind and well prepared for this cup tight, surely they will put their 100% focus and concentration to win this year FA Cup.
If you look at Cardiff, I would say that they are lucky to be in the final ! We cannot rule out on their ability to make it through the final but Cardiff is still a "Championship" club rather heading to "Premier League club status". They are no way compared to Portsmouth.
With injury of Jermain Defoe does not hamper Portsmouth as they play as a team. Furthermore, David James(Goal Keeper) and Skipper Sol Campbell should be fit for this match.
I think this match will be tight as both clubs would be cautious as not to let go this Cup too early ! Cardiff will try to defend most of the time and Portsmouth will also be cautious under such cup finals. As such, I believe it will be during second half that the Portsmouth fire will start to spread against Cardiff with a goal or 2.
